Kodaikanal

Kodaikanal is a charming hill station located in the Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu, nestled in the Palani Hills of the Western Ghats at an altitude of about 2,133 meters (7,000 feet) above sea level. The name means “Gift of the Forest”, and the place lives up to it with its misty cliffs, lush green valleys, and scenic lakes.

Kodaikanal Lake: Man-made star-shaped lake at the center of the town. Boating, cycling, and horse riding are popular here. Surrounded by walking paths and eucalyptus trees.

Coaker’s Walk: A scenic paved path offering stunning valley views. Ideal for morning or evening strolls with misty mountains on the horizon.

Bryant Park: Well-maintained botanical garden near the lake. Known for flower shows, especially during summer festivals.

Pillar Rocks: Three giant rock pillars standing 400 feet high. Breathtaking view and great photo spot.

Silver Cascade Falls: Waterfall formed by the overflowing of Kodai Lake. Located on the way to Kodaikanal from Madurai.
